[@Amaya Tamashii][@BrodZ11711][@Lugubrious] The oppressive sun shone down with its golden rays upon Team Powder Keg, burning their skin if they didn't keep themselves covered with clothing. Nolan had worn his hood and a poncho that was able to cover his upper arms enough so that the sun wouldn't crisp his skin up. He expected by the time he got out there he would be as tan as multimillionaire, well hopefully not. Other wise he would look like Donald Trump, whoever who or that is. It was as expected; it would be a hell on Earthland that would boil their blood and cause one to go mad from the heat and dehydration. He couldn't help but wonder just how long this sand mage had been in the desert. Even though he can use sand, the mage couldn't resist the desert heat nor could he overcome his bodily needs such as thirst. It's not like that deserts are abundant with water. There was also the chance that this man was dead and all they would have to do was find and collect his corpse for the reward. That would've been the best case scenario. No fighting a powerful mage or an invisible water monster, just easy money. It was only an hour, but it seemed more like an eternity in this sweltering landscape until they stumbled upon a figure in the distance. A man sitting down in the sand with his face down towards the ground, as if he was simply waiting for death to arrive and finish him off. The man looked up at them when Fleo called out to him from the distance, causing Nolan to give her a sharp glare. "We? This guy is paranoid and desperate. The last thing we need to do is to set him off with all four of us riding over to him." He looked back towards the man, even the sun couldn't melt his icy gaze. "I'll go over. The rest of you stay here. If things get bad then feel free to back me up." With a kick to the horse's side, he rode off towards the sand mage before arriving in a few moments. He had slowed down as he approached him and came to a complete stop, hopping off the horse. From his belt he took the canteen of water and took a brief sip, then tossing it to the wanted mage. Nolan sat down cross legged on the hot sand. " Bert Cunningham, ex-member of the guild Magnum Hound, wanted for mass murder. I'm here to take you in for your crimes is what I would say if I hadn't heard an interesting tidbit from my overly friendly colleague over there." He motioned his hand towards Fleo off in the distance. "The townsfolk in Reezun said that you were muttering about some monster wanting to finish the job. It's easy to say that you're a mad man, but it would go against my conscious if I take in an innocent man for a crime he didn't commit. So tell me your side of the story."
