the 'biblical' elements aren't so blatantly religion themed. the use of Angels and Demons is to add other races and cultures to the world whist also supplying new locations and possible threats. the races aren't commanded by a 'god' or a 'satan' respectively, but by their own forms of culture and government.
I was even considering writing it that it was the Humans that named the demon race a few thousand years before: a human poet somehow crossed into their realm and thought it was hell.... But then I recall that certain things you're not supposed to write about include Religion and politics.

But yeah, kinda like Shadowrun. Cyber-tech, magic, and other fun stuff :P
