At last, the final hunk of encrusted fungus falls off, revealing the statue beneath. You feel rather disappointed, seeing your prize: a shabby-looking statue roughly-hewn from granite, holding a [url=http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/332/7/8/din_pearl_by_blueamnesiac-d33sjd0.png]smoky, scuffed glass sphere engraved with a set of wavy symbols[/url]. The only spectacular thing about this "treasure" is the way it's humming!

Though the process of cleaning the statue was oddly cathartic, it didn't seem to do anything to help the fountain. It appears that the unveiling of the statue [i]has[/i] done something, looking at the cave's interior. A harsh, angular series of glowing red lines has appeared on the cave floor, extending further into the cave's mouth. It seems you won't need a torch after all!
