Let's see.... (I had to take a few minutes after reading this to think; he was originally just going to show up in the post sample. XD)

He used a battle axe in the exams, was strong enough to leave a gash in the floor when he used said axe, and was a massive dick about Alistair's weapons, so based on that and his in-game behavior, he's probably pretty arrogant too.
