I stand in favour of one big massive house party!
Note that this won't be happening in the current section because oh god I'm not ready to deal with it. I like the idea of using one of my characters as the POV, since it would be likely to be one huge post, but I am worried about it leaking meta-information if I ever give a clue as to whatever the character in question is thinking of. Then again, if we all use the stage-direction system to get the 'blueprint' of the post, I can at least try to write it (you guys might be sick of doing all the work!), and if I just can't do it without leaking, there's no reason one of you couldn't do it instead.
For the record, Jig absolutely despises collabs being written from multiple perspectives. That's why the Wolfs' actions/etc are never written out for you directly, they are :airquote stage directions :airquote which have to be written yourself, from your character's perspective. :lol Found this out in my first rp with Jig. And violated readily in my rp with Flav because I'm that kind of friend :rock
This is most definitely true, but I've collabed with all of you now, so you probably all know. :P I've never really seen the point of a collab that switches perspective between the characters involved: the whole point of a new post is that it has a new perspective, either by being from the same character perceiving a new event, or a new character perceiving the same event, or a new character perceiving a new event entirely. When the collab could essentially be broken up into different sections for different perspectives, I don't really see it as anything other than a bunch of smaller posts bundled into one for the sake of length. Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with smaller posts. :P
