He treats everyone at the same emotional distance; he will speak with you as nothing but an equal, using the correct surnames and titles when necessary, but nothing more, and nothing less. He's a keep to himself kind of guy, with a calm and cool-headed demeanor, preferring to watch from an emotional distance, so that he could fully understand the problems without failure. 

Although this mindset has stopped him from becoming romantically or personally buddy-buddy with many people, it has, on the upside, enabled him to think and act without any prejudice or preconception.
