The bad part about establishing 2-3 weeks in real time, I would only get a limited amount of things done since most the IC is collabs. Which time spent depends on many factors, namely at least one collab can take up to about 1-2 week depending on how many are involved and devoted free time. There's more problems trying to do that way imo. Namely as I could likely only get one collab per IC day, 3-4 depending if I'm lucky and pushy. For me, this leaves what happens the rest of the IC day blank and denies a lot of PC development for my characters. 

However, I do agree with periods of skipping like say a week or more IC rather than going each individual day. Especially if it helps to spread events around and make it less clustered to one end. Mainly as it covers time without having to rp the dull, every day aspects as even exciting events get dull after happening next to each other. I know we do this in Blood often, with weeks to month skips in order to cover the years it takes to develop their magic. It would also help establish a length of time without us having to rp it and make the events seem wider spread out compared to what they have been. Though I think if something major happens, like I know Rtron's going to try to kidnap Olivia again and might get her this time, there should be less of a time skip. Namely as I can't see Aeris, due to Mairyell's tracking ability and likely aid, allowing Olivia to go missing for longer than a week at most. IF that.

We are, Yosh made that announcement a while ago due to lacking IC activity in a hope to keep people from waiting to post at key times and waiting on others.
