I am completely comfortable with voice chat and video chat, it doesn't bother me. Video chat may push the boundaries for other people's comfort levels probably, so it's best to omit. Roll20 is a great alternative so that people can chose to chat or not chat vocally. If you haven't used it yet (roll20) I can chat with you on skype and help you find good assets for map making.
