Vera seemed as concerned as Meesei was with this revelation. In as tenuous a time as this, they would be taking a risk by acting against one of Harriet's followers.

Raising his eyes to meet Meesei's for only the smallest moment, Caleb responded. His guilt was getting mixed with some confusion at what Meesei said, but he settled for answering her question. "He...he told me yesterday evening," Caleb said quietly, "I was hiding in the chamber beyond the pool chamber. The one you have to dive under the water to get to. I only snuck out during the night to get food. Galsek was up late, walking around. We spoke, eventually we both found out that we knew about dad."
