Interested! But a question: How do you foresee the Fae working? What are their goals, why do they kidnap humans, and how are they different from 'Cold-iron bad, can tell no lies' fae?
Entirely non-physical entities that infest bodies in multiple numbers, growing extra faces out of places on said body that shouldn't have faces, among the more common of mutations they seem to impose. They're not big on communication, they're very fast, cold iron works as well as any other metal on them (for values of 'well' see 'fire everything') and seem to have an effect on plant-life around them (it grows bigger and faster than it should) and therefore are the obvious suspect into how most of the world cities are choked in trees and vines. As far as their motives go, i'd like to keep them mysterious and creepily nefarious, Something that you'd be happier to not encounter, and something to make for a terrifying chase scene if you did.
I'd play a vampire, but I don't want to have to write a description of how my appearance changes in every post. That's dull. I prefer not to look human, but to be decent looking enough to enjoy it and not bother talking about it. Can I just have that? It's all about the skull-bashing battles anyway.
Ohh no no, nothing like that. As in it would require a vampire to slaughter and devour people by the hundreds to look like someone from 'underworld' or 'twilight'. This includes stuff like superior strength and speed. Otherwise, you mostly just look like something with translucent white flesh with black veins bulging through every limb, intelligent, and various in appearance (skinny and wretches, muscular and brawny, or big fleshy wings.) Being one means you look terrifying and you're OBVIOUSLY a vampire, being the other means you might look human-ish, but if it's found you're a vampire then absolutely everyone will know how you came to look like that.
