Ignoring her mother's 'goodbye,' Mikone walked out of her apartment. Sunshine and the shadows of the clouds made the path toward the academy spotted with both shade and illumination. A morning like that was regular however. Still she appreciated nature, even made a game out of walking in the shade of the clouds instead of in direct sunlight. Once reaching her classroom within the academy she joined the other kids her age. Then she remembered, this was graduation day. Just now recognizing the importance the young women looked around, getting an last glimpse of the walls, floor, and ceiling that she'd grow accustomed to over the years. Mikone wondered if she was feeling too attached to the school. After all the lives of ninja were no classroom, a failing grade could mean a loss of limbs or life. "Good morning, Nagato Sensei" She said, wondering if it was the last time she'd say it. After that she took her place among her friends of the class. They looked ready as if time was going by too slowly, but she felt nervous almost panicked. Her palms were sweaty just from thinking about leaving the academy to become an actual shinobi. Just by looking at her blank face, anyone could tell she was in deep though, ignoring most of her surroundings like her eager peers. No, I shouldn't feel worried. I just. I just need to think of the positives. Mom will have to respect me now, and so will my classmates. I'm going to become a genin then I can go on missions like dad.
