Alright, here we are with the OOC of "Persona: Void Within the Screen." Lets jump right into the plot.

No one knew how it really started, but one thing was for sure, new victims were showing up every 4 weeks in Tokyo. The first known event anyone could point to was the death of a student by the name of Yuya Jin, an 18 year old senior. Before his supposed suicide, he was the "first" known student to use an app simply called "Crossroads." The app was said to be a gate way to an alternate dimension, or a different world, or something along those lines, but there was one thing for sure. After Jin used it, everyone else who used it would end up the same way, falling off one of the many large buildings in Tokyo. The deaths were labeled as suicides to keep public awareness low, but anyone who knew anything about the app knew the truth, or at least had access to the truth. Many were to scared to use it, or even look into it, and the few who did do some research ended up the same way. 

The biggest thing was, the app suddenly appears on several people's phones at once, and then creates messages. These messages...Well no one knows what they say besides the people who receive the app, as it doesn't even seem to register when someone who didn't get the app is shown these messages. These messages speak of horrible things, and continue until one of the people within the group of those affected decides to use it, and the consequences are severe. And once it's over, everyone effected forgets they ever even had the app. Now, the app chooses a new group of students in Tokyo, ripe for the embrace of death...

And this is the opening to our RP, I hope everyone's ready for some murder mystery stuff.

Now with that out of the way, RULES:
1. Posting - Posting will work in a specific manor, rounds. You see, I will post first and this will be the beginning of the "round." After I post, everyone else is free to post once in reply. Once everyone accepted into the RP posts, the round will be over, and you'll wait until I post again to start a new round off. If you wish to post multiple times a round, you must discuss it with me before hand.

2. Level and Time for posts - So this is advanced, I shouldn't have to explain how long posts should be. However, posting times are as follows. Being as this is an advanced RP, I will give everyone a maximum of 3 days to respond to my initial post. If you don't post within that time without notifying me, you get a warning, and if you miss a second time with no notification, you're kicked. If you notify me that you're missing a round, you won't take a warning, and if you missed a round before and then notify me of a future round you'll miss, that warning strike will be wiped. Meaning as long as you notify me at least once everyone two rounds you miss, you won't get kicked. Miss 2 rounds in a row with no notification, kicked. Fair and simple I think, but please discuss this with me if you don't feel this is fair.

3. Respect - No fighting or bickering. If you have a problem it, discuss it like adults or get me involved if you have too. Also my word is law. This is mainly because if we argue over things then posting slows down and that's boring for everyone else.

That's pretty much it on rules, so now we get to Character Sheets.

"personal arc": So as I described in the int check, I want each character to have a personal story arc devised around the theme of regrets and desires. These are essential character building arcs that are there to develop your character and such. I'll do a demonstration of this in my CS as well as make it the first personal arc within the IC to give you guys an idea of how this will work.

That's pretty much it for character sheets. I like smaller CS's as it gives characters the ability to grow and change over time. Now my own CS

Personality/Arcana: The Magician Arcana. Asami is a girl that makes headway int he world by being straightforward and very friendly. She seems to be the type of girl that could befriend just about anyone, and is definitely the type to at least learn everyone else's name.

Weapon(s) of Choice/Type: Two Handed Swords/Slashing weapons.

Persona/Element: Brynhildr (fire) ((I know this might not be the best match up thematically, but whatever. We're already playing lose with themes and such lol))

"personal arc": Asami lives alone. Her parents, while sending her enough to live on alone in a small apartment, don't seem to show any care for her. All this while her older brother comes by only when it's convenient for him when he is kicked out of another perosn's home. Essentially, her parents want nothing to do with her and her brother only uses her for free lodging. Maybe that's why she is so open and friendly, cause she wants to grasp onto some relationship that isn't just someone simply using her or leaving her alone. She wants a true bond with someone else that can care for her, something to keep her from going insane.[/hider]

For the personal arc, you don't need to put down a specific set of events or anything, just a basic description of what they want to change in their life and what they desire and/or regret about their current life, and a possible way for them to get something more.

Anyways, final note. Just posting a CS will not be enough. See, I want to keep this group small, so I'm at most accepting four other people. Based on this, if we get five or more applications, I will pick the 4 that I think are best suited to this RP based on the CS submitted. That's it, hopefully we get a good group going :)
