Though this is a future of fantastic technology, it's also a time where resources are scant. Mechs like an advanced version of the loader from 'Aliens' or blatant rip-offs of the stuff from Lost Planet 2 would be interesting, but not nuclear powered behemoths covered in missiles like Pacific Rim or Gundam :P.

I was meaning more like walker style stuff, akin to AT-TES or AT-ATS from star wars. More like walking tanks to "SUPER WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION AND ROBOT BADASSERY"
