As soon as the teacher mentioned next class Scarlet hopped up from the chair and strode as quickly away from her brother as she could.  She quickly snuck through mob of students pushing their way out of the room and was up front with the teacher before she knew it.  

Danial on the other hand kept starring at his feet.  It wasn't until the room was practically empty, except for a handful of students talking to each other or staring at the rabbits before he allowed himself to cry.
