Jess raised one of her eyebrows curiously at the stranger. [i]"I'll show him if I 'even know how',"[/i] she thought to herself, up for the challenge. She looked around the room and found a little wooden table- perfect. She sat on the couch provided and tapped a simple rhythm to warm up and to test the sound. Somewhat satisfied with the sound produced and feeling a bit comfortable, she said, without even looking up at him, "Don't Fear the Reaper. Blue Oyster Cult." 

Why did she choose that song? Simply because she liked it and was in the mood for it. Plus he did say he could play any song she wanted. She was ready to start any minute and waited to see if he actually knew the song. It was fairly popular back when it was released but then again that was decades ago. Still, it wouldn't be that impressive if he was familiar with the song, but it might be if he could play it.
