Kiba hit the ground, the impact being hard enough to make a small crater on the floor. It hurt more than it should have due to the wounds he sustained during the surprise shooting. The pain still isn't debilitating, but it is somewhat worrying, since it reminds him that there might be more trying to gun him down or whatever other way they want to attack. As he lay on his back, Kiba sees his opponent swinging her weapon down, and he rolls to his right to avoid it, then gets up and responds with another palm blast, this time aimed directly at her.
