Essentially what we're going for is Starship Troopers in a Star Wars setting. That means infantry grunts doing infantry grunt work with not enough support from supplies, intel, or fleet. They'll pitch in, sure, but these are the trenches. With that in mind (and having a pretty good idea of where the RP is heading), an X-wing pilot isn't going to fit into things very well, if at all -- conceivably we might get a fighter escort every once in a while, but that's not what the RP is about. [i]Former[/i] X-wing pilot who can't fly anymore and is learning all about how real rebels fight -- [i]that[/i] might be a better starting point. Just, you know. Bear in mind. We're all grunts here.
