Greek fire is a pretty common knowledge by this period. Production of mustard gas and its derivatives are also actually an important step for industry so pretty much any up-to-date nation should have them. As for the last two, my nation is among the leaders in aviation and rocket technology. I didn't plan to steal your thunder. I just tell you the current status with this game. Of course you can be the leader in chemistry but you need to think on other developments. Nappalm instead of greek fire, nerve agents as poisons and being the world-leading nation in helium production can help to establish that. I leave the rest to you. BTW, there are a number of nations with airships in this setting so if you produce the most helium you can fill your pockets with that business pretty well. By just plain memory there are at least 3 nations who would buy it from you, including mine.
The chemical formula for greek fire has been lost to time, actually, so nobody truly knows what it was made of and the nations of this RP probably don't have napalm yet, considering the first synthetic napalm was developed in 1942 and that is rather late. Just an example. I'm mainly meaning that we're going to be moving towards more chemical-based weaponry, and potentially might invent something like VX as the RP goes on, with all the ethical ramifications therein. Well then we're another leader, that's simple to resolve. Fair enough. I'll probably think of another creative technological thing to throw in to differentiate our nations a bit.
