The only way I could see Mokou [i]helping[/i] the situation is if it gets to the worst possible point and Guts needs to be incapacitated. Beyond that, I'd wager a guess that someone using super-tech would be seen as a sorcerer by [i]anyone[/i] with only a medieval level of technological knowledge. Clarke's Third Law is very much in effect for primitive peoples.
