Nowhere in the First post did it say specifically that. (Believe me, I checked. )
So really you might as well say this is a third timeline leaning closer to an MK X like one based on what the author had in mind. 

Even some of the approved characters are based on the ideas of [u][b][i]Reverents, which were not present in the original timeline. [/i][/b][/u]

And, so far the only person or Persons I should say are using established characters. 
Which would be you and Zeus.
