Verloren didn't mind the silence while he skewered his fish and set it on the fire. The flame was rather warm so it didn't take long for the outside to turn crisp and crunchy. Though he was no expert on cooking fish, he was quite sure that if the outside was crispy flaky, the inside should be cooked well enough for him to eat. It took him even less time to start eating the fish, not really giving it any time to cool down. He was starving, having not eaten since before they left yesterday. While he wasn't all too fond of the taste, he didn't mind the crunchiness of the scales he should have peeled off nor the bits of fish that were still a bit uncooked. Nom, nom, nom. He tilted his head a bit as Lu asked him a question. Though Ver just offered a small shrug, shaking his head a bit. "Honestly? I don't think you did. Its alright to worry about things. I worry about a lot of things, but I am just not very vocal about it. And, of course I worry when your eyes change color." He chuckled a bit. "It generally means something is wrong or you are upset. I don't want you to be upset or angry. Ya' know, I want you to be happy." Verloren mumbled softly to himself as he picked at the fishbones a bit more, managing to get a small bit more of fish before tossing the bones right back into the river where the fish had been caught. "And I can imagine it might be difficult for us for a while outside of the city for a while... but it will be better eventually. You could try to be a bit more vocal about your worries, too."
