Personality/Arcana: Fortune - this Arcana symbolizes fate, luck, fortune and opportunity. Although shy at first, Emiko is one to remain optimistic even in the grimmest of times; she has a calm, relaxed demeanor and rarely speaks out of tone. She tends to keep her opinions to herself, only speaking when the situation deems it necessary. Emiko can also be seen as quite credulous since she becomes easily attached to people and over-trusting if they show even the slightest bit of affection to her.

"personal arc": Emiko comes from a relatively stable household- both her mother and father are successful in their professions, easily providing her with a comfortable lifestyle. Since she is an only child, all of her parents' attention remain on her when work isn't their top priorities. However, because of their careers, Emiko usually finds herself home alone; only on rare occasions would one of her family members be home with her. Regardless, her guardians still monitor their daughter's actions closely- they and those around Emiko hold her in such high esteem and expect her to maintain her reputation as "the perfect child." Her grades must be flawless, and she must demonstrate proper etiquette. By conserving this facade, Emiko manages to make her parents happy. Even so, she doesn't believe her current way of living is the [i]correct[/i] path. She is torn between existing as an pliable doll to please others or choosing to carve her own fate. (The Fortune Arcana is usually held by those who attempt to seize their own destiny in spite of fate and are typically involved with making important choices and decisions, hence the little connection between her back-story and her Persona.~)
