[@akje] That is a good point on the one handed weapons, but if you have read the World War Z book then the effect of basic training kicks in, when in an intense situation it will be hard to not break that drilled in habit. So some things he may get use to using one handed, but in an intense combat situation he could easily resort to his old training. No for the blood, Hank has been looking for anything to act as a substitute for human blood, but being a young vampire that is not easy. Now something that I have tried to hint at is he doesn't see Vampires as monsters, he just sees that he's one of the only ones who will deal with them when they become monsters. This also lead to the one human incident which is a story for another day. But the lack of human blood is having an effect on his senses. He still has his powers but not at full strength as he both gets use to them and is trying to find a substitute for human blood.
