Over-population was supposed to be a general theme of my people.

My nation looks about twice the size of the U.K. (which has 64 mil.). Granted, this is only the 1940's, but I was only attempting to give that idea of overpopulation. And, besides, my people aren't human and Kal is the god of passion and energy. :lol

Dong Wei and me are about the same size, so me having somewhat less than twice the population is definitely too much for comfort, but not absurdly so.

It also adds to the idea of KalMea having tons of factories and employers being allowed to take advantage of their employees and hardly pay them. Add gross overpopulation to the mix and you have the stereotypical industrial nightmare.

EDIT: Also, KalMea- while a theocracy- is super-accepting of any religion (with the exception of the dreaded Church of Kal's Passion) and has plenty of job opportunities. That could lead to immigration.
