I think having Merrill return to her tribe as the new Keeper would be cool, since it adds a possible plot for us to explore since some of the clan would be resentful of her history, but forced to accept her due to all the unruly Mages and mad Templar running around the place. :lol

And wow, this place really livened up today. :)
