"Keep up." Sven said while he glanced back over his shoulder down at Aksel. He kept a brisk pace ahead of the teenager behind him whom he usually addressed as "kid". There was a decently quiet crunch of the earth beneath Sven's feet in certain areas of this somewhat chilly weather which he was used to. His poncho kept him warm, and he has felt a lot worse than this considering he had lived in Finland all his life. A long drag of the skinny and smoothly rolled cigar was taken from the corner of Sven's mouth, filling his lungs up with smoke, just so he could blow it out from his mouth again where it would rise into the air and drift off someplace else. Pretty quiet around these areas. Not much was ever said, and Sven sort of liked the idea. He was never much of a huge talker, certainly not unless the conversation was captivating in his case. A look was taken side to side every once and a while, his eyes peeled, Sven was scanning down his new surroundings until he hit a small dirt path. Hmm.. it didn't look like it could cause much harm. He shifted his head to the right side, looking down range at what appeared to be a town, but sort of looked like the blob of civilization from this distance. Might aswell check it out... He stopped mid-step. A voice was heard, but it wasn't exactly being called out. Sort of like a message accessing his brain, he heard a girl calling out. She must be trying to contact other people. Sven put up his fist from the right side and held it up for Aksel to see. It was a signal for him to halt, he wasn't sure if he heard it too or not. "Slow down, kid." He said addressing Aksel while turning his head and eyes to the left and right, trying to see if someone was nearby. No luck. Sven had heard of certain individuals using a telepathy mind messaging sort of thing, but he's never actually heard it before or used it. How was this supposed to work anyway? He didn't bother to tell Aksel what he was doing, just closed his eyes and started thinking. All thoughts were cleared, and he tried to grasp the communication he had heard earlier, and reach out to send his own. *Hello?* Sven would usually never just come out with a greeting like this; however, he wasn't giving up his position so it didn't matter. "You hear that, kid?" He finally said after a short pause and a short drag of his cigar as he looking back at Aksel with a skeptical expression on his face.
