“Do I need a reason to stay other than the act of observation?” the Contractor replied to Rose with a question of its own. “You humans think that just because an event derails from its previous action that it is any more unique compared to any other moment. I just don’t understand!” That would be all the Contractor had to say on the matter as they found themselves confronted suddenly by a Primordial. Did the Contractor somehow know this was going to happen? It was impossible to tell behind the creature’s normal grinning expression. It watched in silence as the battle soon began. The Primordial that looked so much like a twisted machination of its enemies snarled before raising its pair of scissors. With a mighty heave, it brought the blade down to separate the wave pushing it back, water dripping down its form. It was obvious that this one lacked intelligence in exchange for strength. It began another charge, this time raising up its scissors to take the brunt of whatever force Rose would throw at it. Farther away in the city, the first Primordial was a little bit more intuitive than its kin currently combating Rose. With a giggle, the dark creature ripped its scythe out of a now fresh corpse before launching itself at Miyako. Twirling the execution weapon, the Primordial hacked and slashed without stopping and without mercy. All the while, it laughed happily at Miyako’s efforts before soon disengaging and leaping back. With a twirl, it hefted up its scythe and threw it in a death arc towards Emiri with the intention to kill their support first. A much deadlier opponent than the one Rose was fighting.
