Zylar could easily be a hybrid of Demon and something else? (Or just a type of demon? Idk.) Since it seems I was completely wrong lore-wise when suggesting alien.

As for the energy source he taps into. Zylar just has no clue what it is. It could be mana or spirit energy. We can choose either as his energy source/power. Which ever is fair or functions best with the group/rp.
