Well, besides that it feels like you are getting a little bit of an attitude (could just be how I read it), I'm not comfortable with right-out rulers being adventurers. Besides the idea of emperor (in my mind, this is someone who rules over several kingdoms) being a bit too much, I don't see any real reason why he'd leave a kingdom to go on an adventure. That's extremely irresponsible and he wouldn't stay emperor for long at all.

His personality also doesn't seem to fit into the group or the adventure as I'd like. Tough love and gruffness is okay or the level of suspicion that Tylan displays can work, but him being just an asshole just because he thinks he's better? Ehhh... and that gloryhound stuff doesn't really fit either. If this were a role-play where death was possible, he'd probably endanger himself or everyone. I'm also uncomfortable with the playboy type of attitude... images of someone who is just arrogant as hell, wants all the glory, and flirts... I don't know. I don't see how he'd really help the group no matter what his abilities are.

In conclusion, I'm being picky about a tenth character and he did not pop out for several reasons. I appreciate the time you took to write him out, but this happens sometimes. Believe me, I've never won a 'competition-type' of CS-applying so I'm doing my best to carefully read everyone.
