[@Earnest Evans] essentially, the characters in this story are going to be caught in the middle of a war between the gods. The object that all of the gods are fighting for is a relic called the Stone of Jas, an object that was created by an Elder God(which is on an entirely different tier compared to any God that is currently active). The stone is the object responsible for many of these gods' ascensions. It is more or less a battery that allows the user to absorb insane amounts of power, the only cost is that the guardians of the Stone, the dragonkin, gain the same amount of power whenever the Stone is used(and these guardians are already powerful enough to kill gods). The current holder of the stone, and the one that has been using it as motivation for the gods to kill each other is Sliske. Sliske is a mahjarrat that is more/less the master of shadows. His motivation is, according to him, not selfish. He simply wants to keep the gods busy enough to allow his god Zaros to return to the world unchallenged.
