Depends on how they go feral.

If its due to anger/rage/etc: They don't go completely unconscious, but they don't perceive everything either. A good way to picture it is like an older TV with a slightly off signal, you can see and hear it okay but it's not quite the best either.

If they willingly go feral: They are able to able to see and understand everything, [i]but[/i] they are also able to control it as well.

IF they willing go feral and lose focus: They then either have a horrible signal or go completely under.
