I've been reading through the loads of posts I've been missing, and I've noticed something. A lot of characters who were pretty jerky (in the sense that they had motivations that motivations that weren't wholly altruistic) were rejected for being jerky and could cause issues in the party. I mean, I can understand not wanting party conflict, but the clear differences between characters is one of the big things that keeps a party's interesting nature alive.
Ehhh... and that gloryhound stuff doesn't really fit either. If this were a role-play where death was possible, he'd probably endanger himself or everyone.
What does this mean? Is character death something we're going to not experience? I'm sure I'm reading this wrong, but it seems like we're going to mainly be playing an RP where all the characters are friends all the time and never go into any danger that would actually endanger our characters.
