John Floated down the length of what used to be the cannon.  As far as he could tell, though, it had been stripped for parts after being decommissioned.  "Did you get that list of parts I sent you?" he asked Crimson.

"Yeah, though some of these parts can be greatly improved with a bit of future tech.  I'll get to work redesigning and forging the new parts."

"In the mean time," said Batman over the comms channel, "I have a meeting with the UN over recommissioning the weapon.  We'll get them to accept it, but it would help if someone from the future would come with us to prove the situation.  That means you, GL."

"Sounds good to me." he replied.  "Heading back to the airlock."  When he got there he waited for it to pressurize and stepped back into the base.  Several of the Javelins were being prepared, most notably the one for Superman and Batwoman.  When he saw them, he walked over.  "Good luck down there.  If you need any help, feel free to call me.  I could use a good excuse for skipping out on the bureaucracy down there."

"No, no, no, you idiot, if you connect that there, you'll burn out the main gravity generator as soon as it's turned on."  Ultrahumanite and Toy Man looked at Lionel angrily.  Obviously they weren't used to being so outclassed in the intelligence department.  Well, what did you expect, no one here besides his father could even come close to his IQ, though that was obvious by their difficulty to grasp the ten dimensional physics necessary for the drive to function properly.  You'd think they could at least learn to properly connect the super-conducting cables, though.

"You have a message waiting for you." said Sinestro.  "I'll help them out here. I'm more familiar with Coluan hyperdrives then they are, after all."

Finally, someone who at least knew what they were looking at.  "Fine, I'll go check it."  He flew to the nearest console and pulled it up.  So, he came through on a mission, not just for more Xynothium.  Very well, he'd prefer to do this with stealth, but there were other ways.  "Humanite, Toy Man, I have a mission for you.  I need you to break into a Cadmus facility for me.  There, you'll take down their transporter jammers and help me take a Thanagarian warship that I need.
