Joseph As he flew around the crisp Portland air, over its lit streets. All felt right in the young man's life as he grinned, arms out feeling the winds dance around his fingertips. Joseph relished being able to do this, as it was everything him and any other young boy or girl who dreamed of flying thought it would be like and more. Nothing felt wrong, no thoughts of anything except joy were going through Joseph's young mind. Life was per... Znnng! “AHHH!” Letting out a sudden scream Joseph felt his body rotate midair. His right wing suddenly feeling like a searing hot knife slashed into it. Seeing blood slowly leaking out of the top of one of his wings Joseph almost didn't realize that gravity had grabbed hold of him, and just as quickly as he was flying he was now falling quickly towards 4th street. Joseph's heart pounded harder and harder, making the blood squirt out of his wing more and more. Visions of the rest of his family swirling in his eyes as he was clinching out for something to save him. Suddenly though he felt a net cushion his fall away from the harsh concrete. Joseph not even noticing who did it or even frankly cared, he was just relieved he wasn't dead. “Oh man... thank you guys so much I thought I was a gon...er...” When Joseph's eyes finally opened and glanced up at the rather intimidating appearance. His tone become worried again. Before Joseph could scream though, one of them quickly covered Joseph's nose and mouth with a large rag. Trying to fend it off and get off of the netting he landed in. Joseph's jerking movement and struggles slowly drained from him as the gases on the rag knocked him out cold, the men putting him down on the ground and coming towards him being the last thing Joseph saw before everything went dark. Nathan Quietly Nathan's mother came to the door, “Come in, Mr. Peterson correct?” The man nodded, though it wasn't true at all, just what he gave the woman. “We don't know what to do sir. His eating everything in the house, we can't afford anything anymore because in some way he makes it much more expensive than it used to be.” As Nathan's father finished explaining everything the officer listened intently. Finally glancing back to the parents as they sat on the edge of the couch's cushion. “I understand, and believe me our organization wants to help you. I can't promise any real time frame but your son will be returned back to normal from this... horrible condition his been infected with.” Just the slight tone of disgust in the man's tone made his feeling clear. Though frankly Nathan's parents were just wanting some kind of help for their son, before they ended up losing everything. Suddenly though loud creaks from the stairs alerted all three of them to the stairs where the young obese man looked on. “Mom, dad... really?” Nathan's voice cracked as he had to fight back the tears. His parents were too shocked by the realization to say anything, though the man was quick to get up from his own seat and approach. “Your parents just believe that you need help for this condition of yours young man. I can assure you we will do everything we can do fix you and get you back to...” “Fix me!?” Nathan quickly snapped back, suddenly a kind of rage Nathan never felt before swelled up in him as he stepped the rest of the way down. His body slowly ballooning in mass. “FIX ME!? I don't need a damn bit of fixing mate! Yeah I'm big but what the Hell's wrong with that eh? I can't believe you two would do this to me after all the assurances, how we'd all figure this out together. Apparently together meant with this wanker right here!” Nathan gestured towards the glasses wearing man. “Son, you just need to calm down, there's no need for this tone.” “Don't hand me this need for tone crap!” Nathan had never felt like this before, but something about telling some man off like this was actually rather exciting. “You two could have talked to me about all this you know? Actually fucking tell me something instead of bringing in this bloody piece of waste.” “Son you're coming with me...” The man grabbed Nathan's now enormous wrist which only got him slung against a wall like a doll. Nathan's boiling over rage though made him almost not realize a sudden piercing into the side of his neck until he felt something sticking out. Reaching over and yanking out what looked like a large dart. Before Nathan could turn around to see what fired at him the door and windows exploded and shattered open respectfully. Men all wearing SWAT like gear coming in and dog-piling on Nathan like he was a crazed animal. Nathan swayed and swung himself around viciously which got a few of the men off of him. But they continued to grasp at him. Slamming more and more of the tranquilizer darts into him as they finally started to work, slowly Nathan struggled to stay conscious as he saw his parents crying in a nearby corner. Finally Nathan couldn't keep himself and all the SWAT men on him upright as he collapsed to his knee, and finally shook the Earth as he fell face first to the ground.
