jarvis Free of others, for now, javis continued to Jamie's office, where he began to start the long progress of organising it, putting the completed job from team Powder Keg aside. He didn't get far in the organization, as he came across the information about the magic council. That wasn't what gave him pause, however, as he read the flyer that was with it. He sat down on the chair, and began to laugh. Jamie was always brillant, always thinking one step ahead, or rather, more then one step ahead. He had to sit for some time, just staring at the flyer. You just had to hand it to Jamie. Jarvis set the flyer aside, intending to put it up once he had finished tidying up, still chuckling as he rose. He sorted out jobs that needed approval, building plans, and the information on guild members, and on the connections jamie had. He sorted out Bills and other files and soon had the office organised, and pleased, he grabbed fhe flyer, and put it up on the job board, the one place everyone would see it.
you are invited to...
the First Annual Magic Games, in 100 years!
That's right, we will be undertaking the Magic Games, to find Fiore's strongest guild! We also hope that this will also improve magical relations, as well as just being fun! Now, the boring stuff, the rules! Rules: - Only four members of each Guild team can compete in the games. - Guild Masters cannot participate - Anyone without the Guild's insignia cannot participate - Each event will remain a secret up until right before they begin, at which point the rules will be explained - All participants must return to the lodgings by 12:00 - Victory is based on who can dominate across several different kinds of competition Arena: The competition is held in a large arena called the Domus Flau, which is located on the west mountains in the old capital of Fiore, Crocus. It has chains from four different corners that attach it to the ground. Above each chain, there is a statue of a person with a staff that extends inside the arena. Tournament: The tournament will be divided into 6 days, with two events held each day, one battle and one surprise event Now, is that all? Oh yes, the date the competition starts! July 31st! So you have a month to train, and to chose your teams! Regards, Zebadior, GameMaster!
He plastered it up, smiling with ease, glancing about the guild hall, he looked to see that everything was running smoothly. Well, as smooth as it ever got in Phoenix Wing. He looked over to Prince, still it seemed needing to regain energy. Jarvis made a lacrima appear in his hand, full of magical energy, stored for when it was needed, and went over. Prince had, after all, done a lot for the guild when he didn't have to. Jarvis gave a smile to Eylse, the child still didn't seem to comprehend that Jamie wasn't going to be around for a while, and he knew it would devestate her. "you know Jack just does That for form. I'm sure he cares about you. After all, he let you in the guild, despite his fear. You also do not have to worry about Karn, well, how he would be here. We are a...chaotic guild, but we care deeply about each other. We may not have given the best...impression, but it has been a hard, trying few days. But we are still here. Use this now, or whenever you need it." he handed the lacrima to Prince, "energy" Penny Penny thought of her own, adoptive mother. More of a mother to her then her biological mother, thought on how she had died. Died protecting Penny. Penny met Mayt's kothers eyes, and said, "you aren't a very good mother. Giving a child that responsibility, the weight of memories even if he didn't reemmber them, and not giving him a warning. I don't care if you haven't seen him in a hundred years, or ten, or thirty. You can reason all you want, say it was all on his best interest, but it's not. It's in yours. If you really had his best interest in mind, you would have taught him this, and told him the risk, instead of relying on proxies." Penny rose smoothly, "thank you for the information. However useless it is now, I imagine it can still be helpful" and then she stalked out the house, thinking that the problems were just piling up. Karn, Mayt, jamie....she wondered just what she was going to do, or who she could talk to. Damian was gone on the dragon job, and Jarvis was most likely busy, and Mayt was ...potentially at risk of death. She could hit Damian. It was his fault she was S class. And Jamie's, for tasking Damian with that. Why did she have to have this responsibility on her shoulders? She stalked down the streets of Magnolia, expecting at any moment to have Mayt's mother follow her. To do something. Right now, Penny probably would just set her alight, her mood growing darker by the moment. And as such, she perhaos foolishly turned on the spot, and stalked back to Mayt's mothers place, this time not even knocking, she pushed the door open. "and further more, what can be done, what will you do to fix this, since it is your fault" Penny knew she was overstepping boundaries, but she didn't care. Parents shouldn't be the problem. And she hated people who put others at risk, without seemingly a care. Timelord So far, he was disappointed. He expected better, of Phoenix wing, but also of some of those he was curious about. Certainly, they had figured out his trap, not that it was very sophisticated really. It was amusing to see them scampering about, of course, but that wasn't anything really. "Tsk, Tsk." He stood ontop of a building, forecer watching and studying, nothing really grabbing his attention. There seemed to be a lot of activity, but very little of interesting.
