Luke Schwarze--Cutting it Close As soon as Jack had slipped through, Luke's strength had all but given out. Timing seemed to have a penchant for the dramatic with this mission. Immediately bailing out from his position against the frame, he slid between the oncoming (and much faster) door and the wall, and out into freedom. Well, mostly. Door caught his trailing foot for a moment before he'd twisted and yanked it free, and he thought something might have felt something crack, but he'd take what he could get. Shaking off the potential injury as it began to repair itself, he got himself moving, feeling as though the threads of fate had been forcefully realigned by the powers that be, after some great error had passed. Forcing it out of his system, he nodded in agreement with Jack. "No way they aren't waiting for us at any of the exits, you're right." Clenching his right fist, the steely gauntlet covering it morphed (in a noticeably higher-than-normal quality animation sequence) into a drill, both a viable weapon, and more importantly, a viable tunneling option. "Know how close we are to the outside right now?" He asked his comrade, starting forward and scanning the walls for a starting point.
