Phoenix Wing
"Whew." Trinity sighs softly as she leans away from her careful task. She'd managed to clean the gloves, but now they were soaked. She should dry them, and have them ready for Karn's return. She takes the wash basin and crosses the room to her window. She opens it before peeking out below, to make sure no one was there, before dumping the dirty, bloody water out the window. Low amounts of blood could actually help the dirt become more fertile. Once done, she closes the window again and draws the blinds, before returning and setting the pan where it had been previously. She puts her hands together in front of her, fingers touching lightly. "Energy Make." A small ball of energy forms between her palms, and she turns her arms to hold them horizontal, using the ball of energy as a pivot point for her palms. "Filter Plane: Water." The ball of energy slowly flattens as she forms the very particular energy barrier. This application took concentration, and a bit of magic power to use. The takes it in her hand and holds it over the basin, before taking the gloves in her other hand and lifting them through the barrier. The excess water is pushed out of the gloves, leaving them nice and dry. The barrier is dismissed. She takes the gloves and tries them on, examining them on her hands. They fit well, and were very comfortable. She was sure Karn would be glad to have them back. Hmmn... She could have cleaned them easily with Energy Make. Just set the barrier for blood (which was a little more complex), and bingo bango. Her father taught her this magic, to be used, but here she was hiding it. But, to be seen using it... that could invite disaster. She'd been staring at her palm, now gloved in silk. "Damuron told me that they wanted my father for his magic... but as though he'd help them, right? After what they did..." She sighs and drops her hand back to her side. Well might as well go back downstairs. To protect Karn's little secret, she'd just have to act like she found 'em. And who wouldn't keep a nice pair of gloves like this? She descends the stairs of the guild, moving over to the job board to look over the offers there. She needed some money, and that work for the guild didn't actually pay anything. Not that she actually had to make rent, Jamie was very generous on that. But, at the same time, if she wanted any niceties, or, y'know... food. There was a tournament, but there was no way she'd win with Archery and Arrows magic alone. There are strong mages in Fiore, that she knew.
