It was a quiet day at the station just like it always was. There were no calls about any emergencies in the city or anyone nearly burning down their own houses by doing something stupid. Usually there were at least one to two different false alarms throughout the day. Course right now Jack had nothing to do but play cards and just try and pass the time. He would have rather been back home with Athena doing anything but this. He had to keep himself from going insane. Unlike most of his fellow firemen, he didn't live at the firehouse. He had moved out a few weeks after he had met his future wife. He had always found it funny that they had met because he had gotten himself hurt for the countless time. The time in question, he had broken his arm for the fifth time and his lieutenant finally put his foot down and demanded that Jack go to the hospital to get it all fixed up. This time he went to the emergency room to get out much faster than before and this time he met Athena. It was not the most romantic of meetings since she set his arm while Jack was trying to put the moves on her. There was nothing as appealing as getting one's arm set and yelling in pain over it. Still he was nothing if not persistent and he kept coming back. He didn't want to do it but he got hurt so often that he got himself hurt that he was always at that hospital. As luck would have, Athena happened to be the doctor for most of his times there. Eventually he got his nerve and asked her out. The rest was history. His little dream was interrupted by a call. There was a fire at a local apartment building so Firehouse 7 was called on the job. So Jack and his crew drove over as fast as they could. This was were things got dicey. Jack arrived at the scene but barely got there to see the whole place alight in flame. It was part of his job to walk into blazing locations and try and get out. He had been doing well before he felt something his head and he was out. He did not know what had happened next. All he knew was that he smelled something odd. It smelled clean and sterile but he had no idea where he was. He opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling. He had no idea what had happened or who was around him, so he did the only natural thing he could do. "Where? Where am I?" He asked hearing a phone ringing nearby. He did not know this but that was his ring tone. He looked at one of the women, the one with the brown eyes, and asked again. "Who are you? Where am I?" He asked again sounding worried.
