After all the shit he put them through, he was the only one who didn't drop any goodies. Bloody typical, that is. Still, Moira said nothing. She dropped Syed off by the window like he asked, then stood a small distance away and stared across the room, out the doorway and to the balcony beyond. They could see something was wrong with the sky just before Oren made his entrance. They had no idea just how wrong it was, however. They had no idea at all. They could feel the pressure even in here, perhaps due to the doors being so wide open. It unnerved her, gave her a deeply uncomfortable feeling deep in her stomach. How far gone was this ritual? She didn't envy those who were going out there, although it had to be done so that was that. Hopefully they could figure out what they're supposed to do. She glanced back to the others still in the room, all exhausted and wounded and emotionally drained. "Well then... this is it." Syed leaned himself gingerly against the edge of the window, looking down to Lisette with concern. Then without a word, he joined her in looking out the window. He doubted he would be able to see anything she couldn't, especially since she was an archer and all, but he thought she could probably do with some company. Plus he too was worried. He was really worried. As a whole team they couldn't deal with him, so Estelle and Marcus on their own? He sighed, looking up to the lightning-stained sky above. No, no, they had to trust her. They had to. --- Dannyel Hawthorne Manor He ran with them as they made their way through the ruined manor, clutching the key in his hand. It seemed that his gut instinct had paid off - these keys were important after all. Leaving Estelle behind felt wrong, but Abraxis needed to be stopped. Not able to spare any breath, Dylan sent off a quick prayer to Aislin, hoping that Estelle would make it till they got back. Soon enough they found themselves in the ruined Master Bedroom, and they quickly arranged who all had keys. Turning, Dylan stared out across the balcony. "Well, then," he said with grim determination. "Let's do this." He wasn't quite sure what they were supposed to be doing, not seeing any kind of key hole. But it was a magic ritual, so he was sure that something would reveal itself sooner or later. The first step out onto the balcony was killer, the force of the maelstrom nearly knocking the slight mage from his feet. But he held on, pushing through the wind as it nearly torn the hair from his scalp with the pure force of it. Holding onto the key tightly, he bared his teeth in a feral smile. They were doing this!
