Viral didn’t know what the serum was doing to him the entire time he was changing back, at least not from what he could feel. It was a horrible torturous pain and soon he was struggling to find focus again the changes back were over, his body returning to its natural yet greatly weakened form. He couldn’t hear anything coherent around him, just mumbling noises from beyond a thick fog that clogged up his hearing. He felt terrible, unaware that his nose was bleeding until he felt Yumi press her covered hand against his nose. It was a light touch followed by damp feeling, the smell hardly being a proper issue when he could barely tell what was happening or where he was. Viral felt extremely light and extremely tired, but his tiredness was unwanted as sleeping wasn’t an option. He felt like he was in danger of dying with this much strength, feeling too weak to move and struggling to breathe properly. Hearing the mumblings of probably Aito he struggled with understanding what he was saying, staring at him without so much a response. Staring at Aito as he spoke he barely realised he was being asked a question, eventually trying to move but finding the struggle overwhelming very quickly. It was painful to move and he had absolutely no energy or strength, feeling helpless and panicked at how vulnerable he was. He didn’t know how close to death he was but it must’ve been coming soon given how terrible he felt. Shu had big dreams for the future and a lot of those dreams involved getting strong and becoming a hero whom everyone loved. “I could become big strong hero too! Maybe not big…but strong! Real strong!” He was sure he could make it, he was still young and probably had a long life ahead of him still. Feeling pretty ready to go and happy to go at it he smiled at Takeshi and Kabocha, wondering if Takeshi was going to let him train along with Kabocha as well. He did wonder what he could be taught from Takeshi’s friend, he hadn’t really seen much of him in battle and was pretty excited about what he might be able to learn from him; however, it didn’t seem that easy apparently. Takeshi didn’t seem too enthusiastic about letting him be trained by his friend, seeing it as an insult to his abilities over giving him the chance to fight. Tilting his head curiously he looked between them, wondering what the big deal was until the questions were directed towards him instead. Squeaking lightly he tapped his fingers together, feeling fairly curious to what was going on. He didn’t know why he was being left with the decision but he felt he needed to settle things down a bit. “Umm, I could train with both of you! I would like to learn important things and both of you can teach me, right?” It was going to be a delicious sandwich, nice and toasted with just the right amount of juice from the steak but not too much to make it greasy. It was the perfect after training snack for a Saiyan and it was quick too. Throwing the pan on the hobs Kai turned on the heat, Going for the oil before looking to Haku who genuinely seemed confused over how to make a good steak. To put a steak in the oven would be a rather strange thing indeed, not impossible but hardly fast and giving it the best flavour. “No…no, you don’t put it in the oven”, he sighed, drizzling the pan with oil and turning the heat up high, “The best way to cook a steak is to fry it on a high heat. Cooking it in the oven takes too long and makes it kind of tough…unless you like it tough then I’m sure you can fry it and stick it in the oven for a while. Just wait for the oil to get to look close to smoking”.
