This thread is a reference resource for my characters! I'll cross-reference this with my charahub page full of characters, but will also include any characters currently involved in roleplays. All art, unless otherwise noted, is mine. **Please do not use it for yourself - it depicts these specific characters and I would prefer that it not be used to represent any others!** Thank you very, very much. (If for some reason you would like a sketch of one of your characters, let me know and we can probably work something out!) Of note: In spite of the fact that most of these characters have stories attached to them, I'd probably be willing to roleplay using any of them upon request in a new story/setting. Even if they're already attached to a specific fandom, I'd even be happy to cross them over into another universe to play, provided I know the new universe well enough to play in it! Either may be substituted or replaced, or roles may be changed. It's fair game! I just like the "experienced/worldly individual works with a greenhorn" dynamic. Two individuals act out the plot of "The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion," beginning in the cell of the Imperial City Prison and culminating in the defeat of Mehrunes Dagon - basically becoming a two-person "Hero of Cyrodiil" team.

Inspired by the story I have attached to Double!Bonus. "The World" is on its second iteration. Some players present in the first version of the game remember the proliferation of Rogue AI lifeforms which eventually became so advanced that they were sometimes indistinguishable from living players. There aren't many sightings of AIs like that in The World R:2... but there's about to be one, and he'll cause an upheaval if he has his way. In the lore of the game it's stated that humans, out of bitterness and jealousy, attacked the gods, destroying all of them except for one - Folset, the God of Law. Folset erected a wall which blocked off access to "the Heavenly Path," barring humans from ever entering the realm of the gods and cutting them off from that which they most wanted. It's just lore, of course! Nobody takes it seriously since it's just company-created background, and the only references you see to it exist in in-game quests. But a new AI, who claims to be the God of Law himself, has appeared and decided that it's time to re-assess humanity's worthiness to access "the Heavenly Path," and it's up to a few representatives of the species to prove themselves for the sake of everyone. 1x1 could be either one player + the AI, Folset, or two players against the AI. A group would be multiple players pitted against a Folset played by the GM.

Inspired by the background attached to my character Jacie. Basically your average "students in a crazy high school" RP, from what I can tell. Students come together to form beneficial relationships, and even friendships. They attend classes, they attend training. And then, when evil encroaches, they prove themselves, testing the strength of the friendships they have forged and proving that even in the hands of the younger generation, the world can be kept safe from those who would see it harmed. May use these characters, or may use substitutes or stand-ins. Something strange is going down in a small countryside circus, and nobody seems to notice it. Well, sometimes they do - but just as quickly they seem to forget. Everyone keeps forgetting. The Ringmaster has a secret power, and that power continually re-writes the memories of those in his thrall, keeping them under control as they believe that they are working at the circus of their own volition - his pretty puppets for as long as he wants them there. There are exceptions, though. The only people immune to the Ringmaster's power are people who have a power of their own. What keeps them there, then, if they know what's behind everything - if they understand how blackhearted the Ringmaster is? Perhaps it is blackmail. Perhaps it's a thirst for fame, for the spotlight. Perhaps it's a deep, dark agreement with the Ringmaster's methods. Whatever the case, the goal is not only to escape, but to defeat the Ringmaster and release all of the performers under his thrall. It's your word against that of a monster who can re-write the word of those who would help you - you're on your own, together.

Role Play Characters:
(none yet)

Unattached plot ideas:

A girl, excited for the release of a game which has been hyped for months, runs out and buys it as soon as she can. In the game, you summon something - a person, a creature, something in between - to fight for you. You pass on your commands to your summon, who acts as your intermediary and protects you from an onslaught of evil creatures. VR equipment allows the player to actually participate - to project themselves into the game, feel feedback, and participate in the battles. What the girl does not expect is for her summon to be... aware. Oddly aware. Pre-written characters tend to stick to their script and start repeating after a while, but this one... it... he... seems to have a lot to say that doesn't mesh with any script the game might throw her way. He acts more or less within the parameters of a guardian summon, as expected, but he does a lot of things that she wouldn't expect, too. He definitely has thoughts and a personality of his own. Plus, he's waaay more powerful than a summon has any right to be in the early stages of the story! Is this part of the game? When it becomes clear that the evil creatures he's protecting her from are acting on commands from their own master, and that the danger is more real than she ever imagined, the stakes begin to climb higher - and backing down is no longer an option. Can the two work together to weather these harrowing circumstances?
