[b][color=82ca9d]Background/Info:[/color][/b] Ripley is one of the performers under the thrall of "the Ringmaster," the same man blackmailing Genesis. She is unaware that she is under the effects of his memory-altering powers and is susceptible because she has no powers of her own. 

Believe it or not, Ripley can't remember much of anything about her past or her family. She's at a small countryside circus now as a performer, though, and she's very talented at what she does, a fact she's rightly proud of.

Ripley sometimes has misgivings about her job and the place she lives, but she can't remember them for long and they don't bother her very much. She's got friends and she's doing what she loves. 

Ripley named herself when she became a performer because she couldn't remember her given/birth name. The name does indeed come from the franchise dealing with the bizarre and unbelievable, and she hopes it conveys a sense of wonder and adventure, which fits her image of a circus acrobat.
