If Chiyo was less than a second slower, she would most likely, no longer exist. The sight of the monstrous beast from then on began to sit in the back of her mind. The breath of the primordial... The drips of its froth splattered on the ground in front of her.

Chiyo stopped the Primordial from killing her. From ending her young life. The shock of that event, shattered Nanakos' transformation, reducing her back to her small human form. Her small pigtails flopped down past her head. Sudden tears formed. Small drops from her little eyes fell dripped on the ground. Rubbing her eyes, Nanako thanked Chiyo for saving her.
Nanako held Chiyos' hand when she reached out.
