Man, I'm sorry for kinda bein' out of the loop for so long. I've been really busy lately, and scraping out posts is time consuming enough. I've only had one day off for the past week and a half and it doesn't let up either. I'm working every day but Wednesday this week too. Honestly didn't think that working as a "porter" would include so much shit, so I asked a senior worker about it. Turns out, I'm doing more stuff and less stuff than I should be. As the only porter, I'm cleaning up the mess for what would usually be for two or more people. As well, I'm not doing stuff that I should be doing because I'm not being assigned to do it. So anyway, I'm gonna get caught up on my other posts. [@MelonHead] I already caught up with you and [@Tharraleos Polemistis]. [@Skallagrim] & [@Rilla] I'm typing them up now, and I guarantee that my next posts won't be nice at all.
Also about my characters aforementioned power levels. In the rework of my mythos, a lot of my characters have been raised to higher power levels. I increased them to match higher end Marvel and DC character superhuman levels. Just because it always comes off more entertaining. However, the characters in the higher tiers are the only ones who have gotten buffs. Several characters like Kanitah, Erde, so on and so forth haven't changed much. But characters like Sigmund and Pikatok have gotten massive buffs for the sake of storyline progression and rule of cool. As my art improves, I intend to start making comic books of my characters. I've always wanted to make comic books. So that's why I challenged Freedom with Sigmund, because Freedom is straight out of golden era comic books, whereas Sigmund falls into the morally questionable quagmire that is modern comic books. Characters like LeeRoy, Shin, so on and so forth haven't actually received any buffs. Many of my characters who fell into the Intermediate Tiers have become de-powered or had their powers shifted around to be more interesting. I kinda noted the characters who could survive in single combat with them. What with Freedom being more than capable of fighting people stronger than Sigmund. So that's why I figured it would be alright to challenge you with him. I did notice that bit of hesitation though, so I do apologize. I'd say it's a power creep among the characters that I have, but the fact that so many have lost power instead of gained, I'm not certain how to describe it.
[@Bartimaeus] I hope you're enjoying the show. [@Impaqt] Sorry that I didn't come when summoned, like I previously mentioned, busy. [@GreivousKhan] Still makin' that fuckin' face I see. >:C Now, onto something that I've read in the thread:
I just think since Fury is hunting the Dreamer it might be nice to pepper elements of him into fights. Like a story line of sorts. I actually got the idea from reading Melon and LeeRoy's fight.
I do like the idea of some sort of continuity inside of the Arena. Characters who have fought eachother knowing how the other works, noticing slight changes in them from the last time they met. So on and so forth.
