Oh man, I've seen that picture. I want to make a poster of that attached to my ramble. 

And I like your plan. It's very Princess and the Pauper, "royalty just wants to live with the commoners". 
Also usually I RP as a sort of cool, silent type, but I figured for a slice of life I'd be a little bit more like...well, me. It sure makes things easier to write, haha.
