Oh man, I love the idea, largely because I'm a huge fan of Fire Emblem and steampunk both. There's no way I could participate though; I've already got my irons in so many fires. 
Just one thing, though: Bide seems a bit overpowered to me. Generals already have a fairly damage output, and to double that just seems ridiculous, even if they have to endure a reverse-vantage to get it.
