Eventually, they decided to bring out three of the Ferream, who decided that a Illis is worth what it gathers, (wood, stone, etc) and thus they decided to see what the creatures had on them. The Ferream decided that the "Bloodwood" was of equal value to a Illis. A trade of a Illis for the strangely colored wood would be fair. And they proceeded to draw the offer in the sands.
