As Hi-hat mentioned the Eye of the Serpent, his eyes darted to his bag, then back to the trans-dimensional connection of ambiguous sensory stimulation. "Yes, yes, I am," Facilier said, leaning on his cane. "Before we continue, however," he continued, grabbing his cane and clasping it in his hand, "who--[i]exactly[/i]--are you with? I don't recognize your voice, and I should like to know my clients before I make any of my, ah, [i]deals.[/i]" Facilier's shadow crept to the wall and put a dark hand to its ear, listening to Facilier converse with Hi-hat. [h2]Morgan--Public Library, Unspecified Location[/h2] "Ah, if only I had a library card for this place," Morgan said, snapping [u]To Kill a Mockingbird[/u] shut and replacing it on the shelf. Morgan checked the clock on the wall, and figured that she had time to go for a pleasant walk. Morgan exited the sliding doors, stopping to wonder what kind of magic caused them to do that (hint: it's probably pneumatics) and walked onto the sidewalk. Morgan marveled at the other wonders of this unspecified location, such as the horseless carriages and the surprisingly-organized city structure. Of course, she got some funky stares from pedestrians, but having little to no money in her purse, Morgan decided that a stroll around town would ease any tension.
