Well, it isn't really going to be death... I mean... I have my reasons... Manga stuff. I felt it would work given what I have learn with the Manga. I mean, I'm not gonna explain it to avoid spoilers. But if you or anyone has read the manga... It makes sense given reasons. I can PM details if needed, but I don't think it's that important. 

I have no idea about what exactly happened to the other dragon if that's what you mean, but I think it may be same thing... maybe. Maybe not. 

As for the reason IC. Hemlock had taken some damage and was forced to take more in the fight. Knocking him out in that state was pretty much a non possibility. And getting to the last controller was impossible with him protecting the guy. SOOOO, Zenoram and Zero made a judgement call based on how they thought Hemlock would want it handled.
