As Victorique hugged her, Kalinda made a 'Blarg' face, but resigned herself to the hug, She did squirm slightly, but didn't pull away, still making the 'blarg' face, until the older girl let her go. She watched as Victorique walked over to the teacher, and poked her. Kalinda smiled and nodded, about to speak, when Ju-Long spoke to her. She was slightly off put at the question of Victorique and herself pairing up. Kalinda looked over to the older girl, and gave a shrug. 

[color=f49ac2]"I don't know. If she wants to partner up with me, then I'll be happy to. I'm not really looked for any thing in particular. I can adapt to a weapons wavelength easily, so I'm not fussy"[/color] she said, choosing her words carefully, not wishing to upset Ju-Long or do anything wrong [color=f49ac2]"as for a grigor soul, if there's one around, then I see no reason not to pair up with them, if they want"[/color]

Again she shrugged, not sure what else to say. There didn't seem to be anything else to say, and she looked to Victorique, watching the girl, who seemed okay now, against the Kyokun water's effects. Kalinda was glad, even as it meant that she would have to bake cupcakes tonight. 

She looked back to Ju-long, eyes flickering towards Dimitri and the girl that had pretty much ignored Kalinda when she had been asking Dimitri if she was okay. It didn't bother Kalinda, but she hoped that Dimitri was okay. She said to Ju-Long, [color=f49ac2]"I don't have any preference either in the type of weapon. I can learn how to wield any weapon, if I have to, and haven't really trained in any one style. What type of weapon are you?"[/color] She asked curiously, wondering if she should look at her classmates souls, to have a better understanding of them. But she figured that was an invasion of privacy. [color=f49ac2]"what type of Miesters have you paired with before?"[/color]
